Symposium - Ontario, CA, United States
The annual SAS Symposium presents progress across the full range of small-telescope astronomical science: research results, professional-amateur collaborations, science education, special uses of astronomical data such as light-pollution monitoring, and small-telescope instrumentation.
Subject areas include observations and interpretation of solar system bodies (planets, satellites, asteroids, meteors), double stars and binary stars, variable stars, transient objects (novae, supernovae, micro-lensing observations); and procedures for making and interpreting observations made with small telescopes.
