Posted on Dec 7, 2012 12:16:00 PM

Course - Cologne, Germany

This 2-day training course focuses on hands-on generation of monocyte-derived dendritic cells (Mo-DCs) in theory and practice.Pros and cons of different monocyte isolation strategies are introduced, and new technologies are presented to make monocyte-derived dendritic cells generation more efficient, reliable, and easier than ever. The program includes magnetic cell sorting, cell culture, and immunophenotyping by flow cytometry. Participants will experience how to save resources while still following a well-accepted protocol. The course covers the workflow of Mo-DC generation both in research and in clinical settings.
