Yeast and filamentous fungi are widely used as model eukaryotic organisms and as cell factories for biochemical and protein production.Moreover, various fungal species are leading cause of pathogenic infections in both animals and plants. The main objective of the proposed meeting is to bring together leading experts in various aspects of fungal molecular biology and review the recent progresses driven by the current "OMICS" technologies.
