Conference - Bled, Slovenia
As the fifth in the series PIPT5 provides a forum for discussion of optically induced phase transitions in condensed-matter systems, bringing together leading experts in the field.
The main focus lies on the cooperative phenomena in advanced solids that take place on the elementary time and atomic length scales following femtosecond optical quenching. Topics include optically induced structural, electronic, magnetic or multi-ferroic phase transitions, femtosecond electronic and magnetic switching, as well as generation of novel metastable states with fundamentally different physical properties.
