The Institute of Polymer Mechanics (IPM) of the University of Latvia was founded in 1963 and is a non-profit scientific research institution.The present Conference follows the previous meetings in this series held in Riga (Jurmala) from 1965. The XVIII International Conference intends to keep the customary themes of discussion. Traditionally, on the Riga conferences, the number of participants ranges 200 - 300 scientists. So the conference offers a good opportunity to meet colleagues from all over the world.
