Course - Toronto, Canada
The 2014 Microfluidic Professional Course is designed to provide participants from industry, government laboratories and academia with an overview and hands-on-training of state-of-the-art microfluidic and lab-on-a-chip technologies. The course will be thought by international leaders from academia and industry. No prior microfluidics knowledge is required. In dedicated lecture modules, attendees will learn about technologies for microfluidic device fabrication, fluid handling, imaging in microfluidic channels, 2D and 3D formats for perfusion culture of cells, micro tissues and organs, micro physiological systems, microfluidic 3D bioprinting, and microfluidic synthesis. As a complement to lectures, four dedicated laboratory sessions will allow participants assisted by CMS specialists to design, fabricate and test microfluidic devices.
