Meeting - Cold Spring Harbor, NY, United States

We are pleased to announce a new conference on Probabilistic Modeling in Genomics, which will be held at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, New York. The meeting will begin with dinner and an evening session on Wednesday, October 14th, and conclude with lunch on Saturday, October 17, 2015.
The conference will cover probabilistic models, algorithms, and statistical methods across a broad range of applications in genomics and systems biology. The conference will be distinguished from most other Cold Spring Harbor meetings by its mathematical content, but it will maintain a strong emphasis on important and timely biological applications. This conference grew out of successful workshops on similar topics held previously at the HHMI Janelia Farm Research Campus and Merton College, Oxford.
The conference brings together leading scientists in this fast-moving field. Junior investigators including postdoctoral fellows and graduate students are encouraged to attend and submit abstracts for both oral and/or poster presentations. The majority of oral presentations will be drawn from openly submitted abstracts.
