With an estimated prevalence of 12%, refractory chronic cough is an increasing challenge in the NHS. Furthermore, chronic cough accounts for around 40% of respiratory out-patient visits.
Until now there have been relatively few effective treatments for the condition, but recent research supports new pharmacological therapies and non-pharmacological approaches, such as physiotherapy and speech and language management.
This innovative conference will equip delegates with the practical skills and advanced knowledge to help them apply cost effective and evidenced based treatment within the context of a modern day NHS.
