Conference - Lublin, Poland

This annual event is a flagship of the Society. It aims to integrate Polish researchers working in bioinformatics and computational biology, provides the possibility to exchange ideas and initiate new projects, and contributes to popularization of bioinformatics in local scientific communities.
The Symposium holds General Assembly of the Polish Bioinformatics Society and Bioinformatics Workshop. The latter one is mainly addressed to young scientists who have the possibility to present their results on the general forum. The best oral and poster presentations are awarded! A special session is devoted to lectures presented by the winners in annual PTBI competitions for the best doctoral and master theses within the field of bioinformatics and computational biology.
This year, the Symposium will be organized in parallel to VII Seminar of the Polish Society of Medicinal Chemistry. Both events will share selected scientific sessions and social program. We hope this will facilitate wide knowledge dissemination and flow of ideas.
