Written by BCI Staff | Mon, Jan 30, 2012

The San Francisco Biotechnology Vendor Showase™ Event (BVS) at UCSF last Thursday saw sunshine,  a wide variety of research products, and a range of exhibiting companies from Airgas Norpac to EMD Millipore Bioscience Division. And then there were the Science Ninjas....

Researchers and Exhibitors had fun with the green screen set up, several choices of backgrounds, and Biotechnology Calendar, Inc's. very own Chris Cardador as Resident Science Ninja. You can access Here to see researcher and exhibitor "ninja"photos.

Over 200 researchers attended the Mission Bay event, this was slightly down from last year due to the cross campus postdoc "Speed Mentoring" schedule conflict. Interestingly, nearly 50 UCSF researchers were able to find detailed answers on capital equipment ($100K up) at  companies like Keyence  and Meso Scale Discovery. Diversified Laboratory Repair reported strong interest in their services from UCSF researchers with over 100 scientists coming by their booth during the event.Congratulations to Sarstedt and Kristen Miller, for being the Mission Bay show's 5 Star Exhibitor!

If you are a Science Vendor looking to connect with science researchers  and maybe meet some true science ninjas in Southern California, join us in San Diego at the next Biotechnology Calendar, Inc., located in San Diego, The San Diego Biotechnology Vendor Showcase™ Event. Over 700 researchers are expected to come seeking better research solutions and tools to help with their research programs.

If you are a lab supplier or researcher from another area please check the current schedule to see when the  next event is happening near you.

Congratulations to Sarstedt and Kristen Miller, for being the Mission Bay show's 5 Star Exhibitor!
