Integrating Cancer Genetics into Routine Clinical Practice

Conference - London, United Kingdom

This study day will use interactive learning to explore the advances which make mainstreaming cancer gene testing possible and the challenges and potential processes to its implementation. It will be of interest to all geneticists, genetic counsellors, oncologists, oncology nurses and other healthcare professionals with an interest in cancer genetics.

The day is run by The Mainstreaming Cancer Genetics (MCG) Programme; a Wellcome Trust
funded initiative to spearhead integration of cancer gene testing into routine oncological practice. The MCG programme is led by Professor Nazneen Rahman, Head of the Division of Genetics and Epidemiology at The Institute of Cancer Research and Head of the Cancer Genetics Clinical Unit at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. All the speakers are experienced clinician scientists with strong knowledge of the field.
