Symposium - New Brunswick, United States
ISCGGE is an international conference series focusing on the broad area of chloroplast genomics and genetic engineering, with specific emphasis on the biotechnology potential of the plant chloroplast from a multi-disciplinary perspective.
Following successful meetings in Changchun, China (December 7-9, 2007) and Maynooth, Ireland (June 20-23, 2010), the 3rd ISCGGE meeting will be held at the Rutgers Univerisity Conference and Inn at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ, USA. From the evening of May 8th, 2013 - May 11th, the symposium will bring together a wide range of international researchers investigating both the basic and applied aspects of chloroplast genomics and genetic engineering. The symposium will provide an excellent opportunity for public research institutions as well as biotechnology industries to present their research, products, technologies, and vision for the future. The program will cover the following topics: genomics and evolution; gene expression, technical advances, production of pharmaceuticals & industrial enzymes, metabolic engineering, agronomic applications and applications in microalgae.
