10th BIENNIAL SASCA CONGRESS

The Southern African Spinal Cord Association (SASCA) provides information to health care professionals and policy makers. Promotes the treatment and rehabilitation of the spinal cord injured, and networks with governmental and non-governmental organizations, academic institutions and other service providers.

The conferences theme is about “THE WAY FORWARD” and it aims to stimulate discussion, research and learning regarding spinal cord injury rehabilitation with specific emphasis on the functional paraplegic and tetraplegic person, ensuring effective integration into society and fulfillment of life roles. The conference will look to stem cell therapy into greater depth with an expert in the subject. In addition the conference will be inviting specialist in the field of physical therapy and review the latest in seating for SCI.
