10th International Workshop ``Therapeutic Manipulation of the Inflammatory Microenvironment´´

Workshop - Havana, Cuba

“Immunotherapy 2012: Therapeutic manipulation of the inflammatory microenvironment” is the tenth edition of a follow up meeting in a series of biannual international workshops organized by Latin-American Association of Immunology (ALAI), Center of Molecular Immunology (CIM) and National Institute of Oncology and Radiobiology, under the auspices of the Cuban Society of Immunology, in Havana, Cuba. The main goal of these meetings has been to promote intensive discussions on how to build a bridge between basic science and clinical cancer immunotherapy. Presentations and discussions have covered different topics on tumor immunology and immune system regulation, seen not as isolated phenomena, but integrating them into a systemic vision. Experimental and clinical cancer immunotherapy updates has been also in the main stream of these workshops.
