Eleventh International Congress on Drug Therapy in HIV Infection

Congress - Glasgow, United Kingdom

Our aim will be to provide a relevant, meaningful and topical Scientific Programme reflecting recent progress and innovations in the therapeutic strategies and research affecting the management of HIV infection.  Although there has been steady progress in HIV drug treatment, significant challenges still remain, and as at previous Congresses, issues such as paediatric infection, mother-to-child transmission and treatment in resource-poor settings will be highlighted.

To encourage whole audience participation, the core plenary session format has once again been maintained.  This will be supplemented by integrated keynote lectures, free papers and symposia.  The scientific poster sessions have also become an important element of the programme and we will build on the poster discussion sessions made over the last two congresses.

The Congress appreciates its research networking function and will again assist governmental and non-governmental organisations to capitalise on the coming together of healthcare professionals from around the world.
