Conference - Anaheim, CA, United States

The world’s most comprehensive transdisciplinary cancer prevention meeting.

The Behavioral Science in Cancer Research Working Group will hold a Networking Event on Wednesday evening, October 17, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. The Behavioral Science in Cancer Research Working Group brings together scientists to share knowledge and foster discussions and interdisciplinary collaborations. The goal is to develop and test approaches to accelerate the science of cancer prevention, detection, treatment and survivorship by working with colleagues within behavioral science and across all other scientific disciplines committed to cancer control. Membership is open to researchers of all disciplines interested in such discussions and collaborations.

This year’s conference will once again feature a professional advancement session specifically designed for young investigators. Additional details will be available later in 2012.

The AACR strongly encourages the involvement of survivors and patient advocates in this conference and is pleased to offer discounted registration rates to this group. Advocates who are members of the AACR will receive a registration discount. Advocates must submit a biography or a curriculum vitae and the advocate verification form to receive the discounted rate.
