Meeting background

The post-translational modification of proteins by palmitoylation has emerged as a highly versatile mechanism for regulating the trafficking, membrane micro-localisation and function of diverse protein families. This meeting will focus on the most recent breakthroughs in palmitoylation research.

Reviews by the speakers, based on their presentations at this major international meeting, will be published exclusively in Biochemical Society Transactions (Volume 41, part 1).
