This seminar will be a timely opportunity to examine the future of nuclear energy in the UK.
Delegates at this conference will discuss the future role of nuclear energy in the UK energy mix following the confirmation of the Hinkley Point C nuclear power plant. They will also consider what the prospect of new build nuclear stations will mean for construction and other industries; and how best to address safety concerns and engage local communities.
Further sessions will examine whether the UK is ready for nuclear expansion with discussion expected to look at skills; investment; waste disposal and international cooperation.
