(X6) Keystone Symposia: Tumor Metabolism

Conference - Whistler, British Columbia, Canada

 The conference will:

• Investigate the causal roles played by altered metabolism and epigenetics in cancer as well as the resulting potential of metabolic and epigenetic enzymes to serve as a basis for new ways of imaging and treating cancer;
• Bring together experts from the fields of cancer metabolism and epigenetics;
• Facilitate additional cross-pollination across fields through the joint pairing with the meeting on “Metabolism and Angiogenesis.”

Session Topics:
• Novel Metabolic Pathways in Cancer (Joint)
• Succinate Dehydrogenase and Fumarate Hydratase
• Isocitrate Dehydrogenase
• Lactate and Monocarboxylate Transporters
• Metabolism and Epigenetic Enzymes
• Lipid Metabolism
• Novel Cancer Metabolic Targets (Joint)
• Novel Cancer Metabolic Targets II
plus a workshop on “Monitoring Metabolism”
