The Patent Information Users Group (PIUG) has announced that registration for its eighth annual biotech conference is now open. The conference focuses on best practices for patent information professionals specializing in biotechnology search and analysis. It is an opportunity to learn skills and network with other specialists in the complex arena of knowledge management pertaining to antibodies, biologic drugs, molecular diagnostics, biochips and medical devices.
Aspects of science and patent law relevant to biotech patent searchers will be explored, as well as search tools and techniques. Time is provided for vendor demonstrations, database comparisons and specialty networking.
