(Q3) Keystone Symposia: Prophylactic and Therapeutic Antibodies

Conference - Keystone, CO, United States

The conference will:
• Cover the state-of-the-art clinical candidates for monoclonal antibodies in a broad array of indications beyond cancer and immunological disorders including metabolic disease (e.g., LDL lowering and atherosclerosis), neurological conditions (e.g., pain relief) and muscular issues
(e.g., increasing skeletal muscle mass);
• Explore next-generation antibody therapeutics to expand and improve chronic and prophylactic treatment opportunities, including technologies for crossing the blood-brain barrier and the use of gene therapy and vaccine-type approaches for generating antibodies in vivo;
• Incorporate technology sessions that focus on new innovations, bring together academic with pharmaceutical industry scientists, and provide additional opportunities for cross-disciplinary interaction through the joint pairing with the meeting on “Biology of B Cell Responses.”

Session Topics:
• Novel Antibody Therapy for Pain
• Treating Chronic Diseases of Metabolism with Antibody-Based Therapeutics
• Tailoring Therapeutics to Meet the Demands of Prophylactic and
Long-Term Therapy
• Overcoming Challenging Indications for Antibody Therapeutics
• Prophylaxis versus Therapeutic Treatment of Infectious Disease
• In vivo Induction of Therapeutic Antibodies for Prophylactic
Treatment of Disease
• Generation of Diversity (Joint)
• What We’ve Learned from Antibody Treatment of Inflammation
plus workshops on late-breaking topics
