(A3) Keystone Symposia: Nuclear Receptors - Biological Networks, Genome Dynamics and Disease

Conference - Taos, NM, United States

This conference will:
• Seek an enhanced understanding of the mechanisms, transcriptional targets and networks of physiologic pathways that govern nuclear receptor action, with the goal of better evaluating the roles of nuclear receptors in health and disease;
• Confront the hurdles that still exist in developing new classes of nuclear receptor-based therapies that achieve targeted results with fewer side effects;
• Bring together both junior and senior investigators in a scenic mountain setting to encourage thinking about new collaborations and possibilities for exploration in both academic and pharmaceutical laboratory settings.

Session Topics:
• Genome-Wide Organization of NR Response Elements
• Systems Biology of NR Action
• Co-Regulators
• Dynamics of Receptor Action – The Fourth Dimension
• Physiology
• Nuclear Receptors, Metabolism and Metabolic Disease
• Cancer
• Circadian and Ultradian Rhythms
plus three workshops on hot topics
