International Workshop on Wound Healing and Angiogenesis

Blood vessels are the first organ to develop in the embryo and they constitute the largest network in the body. Angiogenesis, the formation of new blood vessels from pre-existing ones, is an essential step during wound healing. However, when unregulated this phenomenon has deadly consequences affecting multiple organs including the bone. This workshop takes a comprehensive look at the status of research and clinical perspective in the field of wound healing.

Target Audience and Participation:
This workshop would be beneficial to young investigators and early carrier scientists, and it would have intensive technical discussions and exchange of ideas between experienced and early career scientists.
