Translational Bioinformatics Workshop

Workshop - London, United Kingdom

The five-day workshop will provide a balanced blend of inspirational talks from high profile speakers coupled with practical and interactive ‘how-to’ sessions.

On completion participants should be equipped with a solid conceptual framework of the application of genomics/bioinformatics to translational research and with introductory bioinformatics skills to start analysing genomics data.

This course is aimed at PhD students and post-doctoral researchers who are already applying or are planning to apply genomics and bioinformatics techniques to translational research projects. Participants will be introduced to different high-throughput technologies, producing genetic, epigenetic, and transcriptional and proteomic data, along with the methodologies and tools to analyse, integrate and interpret these different layers of information. The program is also designed to be of interest for academic as well as industry researchers.
