Thomas Jefferson University Brightens the Future With Vaccine Research

Researchers at Thomas Jefferson University are working hard to develop vaccines in an effort to fight some of the world’s toughest viruses and cancers. Back in 2017, Thomas Jefferson University was awarded a $30 million five-year contract over a five-year period to research safe vaccination solutions. Since then, university researchers have been developing strategies to find life changing answers to these global issues.

UCLA: $3.7M NIH Grant for Brain Imaging Technology Research

A unique opportunity to advance research into the function of the human brain has been presented to three UCLA neuroscientists. Michele Basso, Dr. Peyman Golshani and Daniel Aharoni have received a $3.7 million, three-year grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to develop imaging technology to record tens of thousands of neurons with the intent of learning how disease impacts the brain’s function.
