Workshop - Bilbao, Spain
The main aim of this EMBO Workshop is to bring together researchers working in the areas of cancer cell signalling and cancer metabolism and to present their work in the context of its potential clinical suitability. These two research areas have enormous potential to lead to new therapeutic interventions and is therefore of key importance to unite the basic research efforts with clinical initiatives. For this reason, we will have a bench to bedside session with experts in translating basic findings to clinical research. There will also be a round table discussion on the future application of the latest findings in these areas. Importantly, this workshop will bring together different types of researchers which will allow the generation of new synergies between the two research areas.
