The International Narcotics Research Conference (INRC) provides an international forum for scientists, clinicians, and other researchers interested in all aspects of opioid pharmacology and function as well as other classes of drugs including nicotine, cannabinoids, alcohol, and stimulants.It has always been an intimate meeting where scientists from different areas of specialty can converse to advance narcotic research to identify novel strategies for treating such diseases as addiction, chronic pain, and mood disorders. A fundamental philosophy of the INRC community is to engage trainees and highlight the contribution of young scientists.
