Science Researcher Update: Spotlight on Meetings, Conferences, and Events

6th International Weigl Conference on Microbiology

Posted on May 24, 2015 3:03:00 AM

Conference - Gdansk, Poland

This series of Conferences is dedicated to Professor Rudolf Weigl, a great man, scientist (microbiologist and an immunologist), and humanist.
The scope of this conference is microbiology, including its many different aspects like molecular, environmental, food, agricultural, and biotechnological topics, with several medicinal branches of microbiology. Immunology, and particularly vaccinology, directly correspond to the main point of research of Professor Weigl, and is also included in the scope of the conference.
The goal of the Conference is to provide a platform for sharing recent results and discoveries in microbiological and immunological research, as well as to introduce young researchers from different countries to this fascinating field by giving them an opportunity to learn from more experienced scientists and to allow them to present results of their own research. Microbiology is a quickly developing discipline and we ought to organize presentations of its ongoing progress.
