UW Madison Research Park Company Simplifying Antibody Creation Technique

Invenra, Inc., a startup company that was established at the University of Wisconsin Research Park in Madison in 2011, focuses on researching ways to help the immune system battle different types of cancers. However, treating cancers involves using different drugs, and creating these drugs is a timely process. A key ingredient for fighting cancer and other autoimmune disease are antibodies, and figuring out which antibody to use to fight a certain disease is both time-consuming and costly. University Research Park, Madison Contributes $825M to Local Economy

The University Research Park of the University of Wisconsin, Madison, located 3 miles away from the main Madison campus on 260 developed acres, is comprised of 1.8 million square feet of of laboratory space within 37 research buildings. In this space over 10,000 researchers from 126 companies work in the 91 research labs on campus to further biotechnology research and product development.
