Conference - Sydney, Australia
As Medicare turned 30 at the start of 2014, it was becoming increasingly obvious that cracks in the system could no longer be ignored. The May 13th Budget, as expected, outlined many changes that the government would like to introduce. Some of these measures have been met with hostility and have sparked much debate and discussion. The reforms that survive to implementation stage remain to be seen but the proposed overhaul of the universal healthcare system has ruffled many feathers. This conference presents a chance for government representatives, regulators, health care providers in the public and private sector, educators and private investors to come together and debate the proposed changes to Medicare as well as discuss the best practice methods of implementing new measures and frameworks. A discussion and networking opportunity not to be missed.
