(A8) Keystone Symposia: Growth and Wasting in Heart and Skeletal Muscle

Conference - Santa Fe, NM, United States

The conference will:
• Uniquely focus on both cardiac and skeletal muscle wasting in one meeting;
• Better understand both similarities and differences in cardiac and skeletal muscle, including molecular pathways and stimuli that promote their growth, and epigenetic signatures and molecules associated with their growth and wasting;
• Bring together researchers from multiple different areas including neurology, cardiology, orthopaedics and endocrinology, and from both academia and industry, to identify common pathways that can be used to treat the many disorders affected by wasting in cardiac and skeletal muscle.
