Real-time PCR in Plant pathology: Diagnostics and Research
Workshop - Ljubljana, Slovenia
The hands-on 4-day workshop will focus on diagnostics of plant pathogenic microorganisms and basics of relative quantification using real-time PCR integrating EPPO Guidelines.
Extensive practical sessions will be held in ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 accredited laboratories of National Institute of Biology in Ljubljana which include state-of-the-art qPCR centre.

The workshop will cover review of qPCR theory, LAMP technology, practical guidance on plant sample preparation, qPCR experiment setup, quality control, assay design, validation of diagnostic qPCR methods according to EPPO guidelines, as well as hands-on lab and data analysis sessions.
